n the black & white early-morning Munich pictures of young German photographer Christopher Thomas time seems to have stopped in the 19th century: no cars, no people, classicist architecture, virgin landscapes—with intermittent contemporary blibs: a derelict public pool, the deserted Octoberfest, a thermal power station in the fog. A dream of the past in new out-of-this-world pictures.
