Schirmer/Mosel
Showroom presents original art works and
books of artists published by
Schirmer/Mosel. Providing a public stage
to Schirmer/Mosel authors, the Showroom
activities include exhibitions, book
presentations, press conferences, readings,
lectures, parties, and artists' dinners.
Schirmer/Mosel Showroom is a two-storey
venue with a main exhibition space on the
ground floor and a second space on the
upper floor, adding up to a total of 1.300
square feet. The gallery has five French
display windows on the ground floor and is
accessible both from the street and from
the Royal Garden.
Due to a system of individually operated
folding panels, the ground floor setup is
variable. It ranges from an open "fish
tank" setup with all windows open, to
a "white cube" setup with all
panels closed and a continuous wall of 36
by 9 ft - and, of course, any possible
variation thereof.
